Who we are
Rest & Relax is operated by a sole trader based in the United Kingdom. Website: rr-housings.co.uk. Contact: hello@rr-housings.co.uk.
What data we collect
When you buy, we collect your email address and the billing details you give Stripe, which processes your payment (we never see your card number). When you join the waitlist, or enter your email at checkout, we collect your email address, plus a name or phone number if you choose to give them. If you accept analytics cookies, we also record which campaign brought you to the site (UTM parameters). Every email address we receive is kept in our contact records (CRM) with a simple history of your interactions, such as signing up or purchasing.
How we use your data
Purchase emails deliver your download link and payment receipt and handle any refund requests. Waitlist emails tell you when the Channel Manager opens for early access. If you start a checkout and do not finish, we may use your email to follow up about that purchase. We only send marketing emails if you have asked for them, and you can opt out at any time. We do not sell your data.
Data storage
Email addresses, contact records and purchase records are stored in Supabase (EU region). Payment processing is handled by Stripe, which is PCI-DSS compliant, and the payment form is embedded from Stripe so card details never touch our servers. Transactional email is sent through Resend. Download links are time-limited signed URLs.
Analytics
Only if you accept analytics in the cookie banner, we use Google Analytics 4 (page views and events) and Microsoft Clarity (heatmaps and session replays: mouse movements, clicks and scrolling). Email, name and phone fields are masked from recordings, and the payment form is hosted by Stripe and is not recorded. Advertising features and ad personalisation are switched off. Data is processed by Google and Microsoft respectively; see their privacy statements for details. If you reject analytics, neither tool loads.
Cookies
We use strictly necessary storage that keeps checkout and the site secure; Stripe may set cookies for fraud prevention. Analytics cookies and campaign attribution storage (Google Analytics, Microsoft Clarity and our own attribution record) are used only if you accept them. We do not use advertising cookies. You can change your choice at any time using “Cookie settings” in the footer, and declining or withdrawing removes the analytics cookies we can control.
Your rights (UK GDPR)
You have the right to access, correct, or delete any personal data we hold about you. To exercise these rights, email hello@rr-housings.co.uk. We will respond within 30 days.
Data retention
Purchase records are retained for 6 years for tax compliance (HMRC requirement). Other contact records are deleted on request, or when they are no longer needed for the purpose they were collected for.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy. Changes are effective immediately upon posting. Material changes will be communicated via email where we hold your address.
